NEW EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR NAMED
It is with great pleasure that we announce Per Janson as Producing Executive Director of Opera House Arts beginning on September 24th. His theatrical artistry, commitment to community engagement, and familiarity with all that we do make him an ideal fit to lead OHA.

Many of you may remember Per from his work over the years at Opera House Arts, as both a director and actor. He directed the acclaimed production of The Glass Menagerie at the Burnt Cove Church in 2017, starred in our 2014 production of Romeo and Juliet, and acted in numerous other shows including Antony and Cleopatra, 10 Real Star Acts, and R&J&Z.

During this search, the Search Committee was guided by input from community members, artists, patrons, and our Board of Trustees. Each of our three finalists spent two days on Deer Isle engaging with our community. Thank you to those of you who participated in this process; your input was essential and much appreciated.

We look forward to introducing you to Per in the coming months. Please join us in welcoming him to the OHA family!
