HAVE A SEAT AT THE STONINGTON OPERA HOUSE

We’re restoring and upgrading all 250 of the Opera House’s elegant, wooden, 1930’s theater seats.

This is your opportunity to leave a lasting legacy. The “Have a Seat” campaign assists OHA to defray the costs of the refurbishment through dedicated naming opportunities. It will also create a badly-needed maintenance endowment for the 1912 Opera House, which is on the National Register of Historic Places.

Dedicate a seat in honor of someone special. Your name and/or dedication will appear on a classic brass plaque on one of the seats. Seats have been dedicated in memory of loved ones, and in honor of famous figures—from irreverent journalist Molly Ivins, to Tosca the Opera House dog!
