Opera House Arts

Thanks

This season would not have been possible without our volunteers. Thank you!

Our volunteers pulled nails, painted, hauled trash, patted Tosca, made curtains, hosted artists, cooked and served gourmet meals, cheered from the seats, ran the box office, designed a database, built steps, hung lights, brought flowers, folded programs, posted flyers, seated guests, painted signs, baked cookies, mopped and swept, joined us on stage, boiled lobsters, arranged for parking, loaned us chairs, threw the volunteer party, and let us use the photocopier on a Sunday.

When you put it all together like that, it does seem like fun.

We have a sneaking suspicion that our volunteers arranged for the double rainbows that graced the harbor on three of our performance nights, but we can't be sure.

Let us know if you'd like to help by sending a note to volunteer@operahousearts.org.

Thanks as well to the local leaders in the town office and on the Board of Selectmen who believe in and supported us from the beginning.

In addition, we'd like to offer particular thanks and recognition to this year's local business sponsors, whose efforts on our behalf were critical:

We are very grateful for the important roles you have all played in the re-opening of this local treasure, and we're preparing for a bigger and better Summer 2001!
